She has worked at such premiere entertainment powerhouse establishments as HBO and Black Entertainment Television (BET).
During the 9/11 attacks, she served as Press Secretary to New Jersey’s Secretary of State, Reverend Dr. DeForest “Buster” Soaries, Jr. In 2008, she founded Moona Media and Management, LLC, a boutique strategic communications and talent management firm, specializing in maximizing brand awareness, marketing, public relations, business development and building relationships for partnership/endorsement opportunities for a variety of clients.
Her eclectic mix of projects and campaigns include: President Obama’s ”Responsible Fatherhood Initiative” with the White House; managing funnyman Kevin Hart’s blockbuster hit “Laugh at My Pain” (theatrical and DVD release) for Codeblack Entertainment; Universal Pictures “Larry Crowne” starring Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts; and Beverly Bond’s mega-successful “Black Girls Rock! Awards” launch on BET, to name a few. McQueen has landed placements in THE NEW YORK TIMES, L.A. TIMES, BLACK ENTERPRISE, ESSENCE and the ASSOCIATED PRESS, as well as on CBS and ABC and many more.
